Quiet day at home today. This is the only thing I did except watch Netflix and sleep in. Everyone needs days like this.

Day 276 - Day with Zoe
Zoe and I spent the day admiring, talking about and creating art. We sketched at the art museum and then went to the beach to paint and have lunch. It was really fun. I like to sketch, but I am realizing that I will never really like what I'm creating if I don't spend more time with my pen and paper.

Day 271 - Happy Memorial Day
This was my view this morning, but Robyn and I actually decided to make it a double-feature movie day. We went to Tomorrowland and then the new Avengers movie. It was a good mellow, rainy Memorial Day plan. Then, we walked outside and it looked like this...
Bummer.
We could have gone to Valleyfair and rode the rollercoasters. Sad face.

Day 256 - Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day! I spent this afternoon cutting fabric with my mama! 😀 I'm working on a beach blanket and she's working in some placemats. It's been a good day. Now it's time for some sitting and zoning out with a little tv.

Day 252 - New Quilt!
Okay, I had an idea that I needed...no...wanted a new picnic/beach blanket. I made one a couple years ago, but it was one of my first and it is too plush and not big enough. So, I am going to make a new one and it will be lighter and thinner. It's going to be kind of simple, because I want it done fast!! I'm so excited!
