Day 304 - Science Museum
This is so interesting. We went to the science museum today and we saw these slices of actual human bodies. Really makes you think about how fragile and fleeting our bodies are. Kind of strange too.

Day 295 - Birthday
Today is my birthday.
Not really very different from any other day, except some extra special time with my family and lots of "happy birthday's" from friends, loved ones and co-workers. Oh, and a special delivery at work from my hubby...
and lunch with these two...
and I taught a lesson in taking selfies...

Day 291 - Happy 40th Sarah!
H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y S A R A H!!!!
My beautiful sister turned 40 today! To celebrate this momentus event, we had a few people over and had some food and some laughs. Of course, I had to get a few pic's of these crazy kids too...
LOVE THEM!! Honestly, I know my sister didn't have kids just so I would have the opportunity to be an aunt, but they are the best gift I've ever received. Being their aunt is the BEST!! Rock on guys!

Day 286 - Amazing Sky...and a Selfie
Robyn and I walked out of the movies tonight to find that a storm had just passed by and the clouds were showing their stuff. I'm a sucker for clouds (if you hadn't noticed already) so I had to get a shot. Also, thought I would pop in a little selfie. Not sure if I ever mentioned before, but I'm doing a selfie every day for 2015. I don't always like them and sometimes I forget until right before bed (those are spectacular, really), but it's kind of fun to see how different I look every day. Amazing really how different your look can be if you change your hairstyle from curly to straight, wear makeup or not, silly face or serious face, natural light anyone? (a must for a decent one) and of course did I decide to use a fun filter or go straight from the camera. Anyway, this is my selfie today.

Day 283 - Flat Tire
My dad is building a deck this weekend, so I took my mom out of the house. Super glamorous shopping trip. I took her with me to get groceries. Well, we were leaving Trader Joes and mom's like, "is your tire flat?"
Yeah.
My tire was flat. Turns out, not one, but two nails in the tire! $20 fix is not so bad though.

Day 279 - Valleyfair...Day One
Yep.
We bought season passes to Valleyfair. How fun is that?! I have to admit, I feel a little queasy after the Looping Starship. Maybe we should have eaten dinner before going on a night of non-stop rollercoasters and rides that flip you upside down and spin you around and make you go at absurdly fun and fast speeds. On second thought, maybe it was a good idea not to eat dinner. 😀
